Michael Phelps
Already the most decorated Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps has come out of retirement at age 30 to add to his stunning collection of medals. Two years after retiring in London in 2012 where he took his collection of medals to 22 (18 of those are gold) and became the most decorated Olympian of all time, Phelps announced that he was going back into training. Showing he still has what it take to be an Olympic champion. He swam the fastest 200m individual medley 100m butterfly and 200m butterfly times of the year at the 2015 US national championship. Rio 2016 will be the fifth of his career and state that it will also be his last.

MMA fighter Joao Carvlho dies
MMA fighter Joao Carvlho at 28 years old died following a third round technical knock out in Dublin, Ireland. The welterweight, who fought straight blast gym fighter Charlie Ward on Saturday April 9, 2016 at the national boxing stadium died at 9:35 p.m. local time Monday. According to the Nobrega team the medical staff followed all of the safety protocols after the fight and rushed Carvlho to the Beumont hospital 20 minutes after the fight. He underwent brain surgery immediately and was in critical condition for the next 48 hours." Even though we had the permanent medical care from the promotions staff and the Irish hospital, to whom we thank for the support of this tough moment, and even though we know the risks of this sport, Joao Carvalho's passing is in my professional point of view, unfortunate, and makes us, his family, and the entire Nobrega team-- which followed Joao Carvlho his entire career, which gained notoriety nationwide and internationally-- saddened and heartbroken."

Quinton " Rampage" Jackson
Quinton Jackson is from Memphis Tennessee. He had a difficult childhood. He began to sell drugs from a young age and was always getting into many street fights. His father was a drug addict and disappeared when he was only 10 years old and came back into his life during 2003. Quinton had his first combat sports experience as a wrestler for Raleigh-Egypt High School, enrolling at the school as a 17-year-old freshman. His high school career included All-State honors in his senior year after finishing fifth in the state tournament at 189 pounds. He became friends with a fellow Bellator light heavyweight Jacob Noe who showed Quinton striking techniques in exchange Quinton would show him wrestling techniques. Quinton intended to pursue a career in professional wrestling after graduating high school but extended his amuture wrestling career at Lassen Community College in Susanville, California before being expelled after a fight with a teammate. After discovering mixed martial arts Jackson went to Las Vegas to train with BAMMA fighter Lewis Rumble and starting his journey to becoming one of the most feared UFC fighters ever.
